Issuing time:2020-10-24 11:26

Spring is not old, the wind is thin and the willows are slanting.

On Labor Day, greeted everyone's expectations, showing up-passing-and faded out of sight.

People look forward to Labor Day in order not to work.

Is this the purpose of this holiday?

People often lament that one generation is inferior to one generation. The exclamation here includes the mentality, physical fitness, and the attitude and performance of different generations of labor...

Taking into account the current educational issues, many children have not been trained as "NO PAIN, NO GAIN.", but "little emperor" style. Clothes stretch out their hands, eat out their mouths, and may even chase behind their ass. Feeding...

In addition, you may also face different degrees of obesity, and of course, there are various social reality problems, and the superficial and central meaning of labor will unknowingly fade.

A few days ago, my country released the first "Health Management Blue Book: China Health Management and Health Industry Development Report (2018)." The blue book pointed out that the number of chronic diseases in my country is about 300 million, of which the burden of chronic diseases in people under 65 accounts for 50%. The proportion of deaths due to chronic diseases in urban and rural areas in my country is as high as 85.3% and 79.5% respectively.

The Blue Book analyzes and judges that the development of national health management slowed down in 2017. In 2017, the number of outpatient visits in my country's medical services was estimated to exceed 8 billion, while the number of health management was only 500 million; and the provision of health management services was single, with more than 95% of health management services. Medical examinations are still the mainstay, and post-examination services are lacking.

The Blue Book research team analyzed data from the "Research on Factors Affecting the Health Level of Chinese People and Intervention Strategies" completed by 132,178 medical examiners from 8 health management centers in my country. The results show that about 45% of the population are overweight or obese; 25% are current smokers ; 35% of people are current drinkers.

The data also shows that 35.9% of people do not participate in physical exercise, and the adult regular exercise rate is only 18.7%. Among the people who participated in exercise, only 24% of people exercised up to the standard per week; only half of them were in an ideal mental state; 35.78% and 12.86% had poor and poor sleep, respectively.

The blue book analysis of the prevalence of the main chronic diseases in the physical examination population in my country shows that the main chronic diseases suffered by the national physical examination population are: hypertension (94.24‰), fatty liver (62.78‰), dyslipidemia (38.64‰), diabetes (34.02‰) and Chronic gastritis or gastric ulcer (29.27‰), the prevalence of chronic diseases in men is significantly higher than that in women.

Chronic diseases have become the number one killer harming the health of Chinese residents, and the risk factors for chronic diseases in my country are also high. There are more than 300 million smokers in my country, and the proportion of non-smokers exposed to second-hand smoke is 72.4%; adults 18 years of age and above nationwide The per capita annual alcohol consumption is 3 liters, of which the harmful drinking rate is 9.3%.

In addition, my country’s chronic diseases present the characteristics of "a large number of patients, a long period of illness, high medical costs, and high demand for services".

In addition to regular physical examinations, genetic testing is also a relatively new type of physical examination.

The help/impact of genetic testing on life

1. Assess the potential risk of illness.

Most diseases are the result of the joint effect of environment and genes. Environmental factors can be changed, but the influence of genes needs to be identified by genetic testing. By mastering your own genetic information, you can understand your risk of various diseases in advance and take targeted preventive measures.

2. Help to judge the prognosis and development of the disease.

The detection of genetic markers that have guiding significance for the prognosis and development of the disease can help doctors treat. By understanding their own disease risks in advance and taking preventive measures, genetic testing can also help people assess the risks of diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's early, and reduce related diagnosis and treatment costs. The sooner these diseases are detected, the sooner treatment options can be adopted, and even if they cannot be fully cured, the quality of life can be improved.

3. Scientifically guide medication.

Different people have different responses to drugs. The root cause is that each person has different genetic information and different responses to drugs. Through genetic testing, it is possible to predict how related genes will affect the metabolism of certain drugs, determine the drugs that are more suitable for the patient and the optimal dose, avoid secondary harm to the body, and improve the treatment effect. Patients can also choose drugs with better efficacy based on genetic information. For the government, genetic testing can also help improve the efficiency of medical investment.

4. Guide diet.

Genes determine the degree of digestion and absorption of different foods. Adjusting diet based on genetic information can help people eat healthy and scientifically. For example, some people naturally tend to have higher blood sugar levels and should pay more attention to sugar intake than ordinary people; some people have a higher risk of Alzheimer's disease, so they should consider limiting iron intake in their diet.

...

More to be developed.

Many people feel that it is precisely because of "work" that they get sick. Excluding some special types of work, the "labor" has to be washed away. The so-called combination of work and rest is just that different people choose different "easy", and the results are quite different. It's not fair to blindly blame "labor".

Labor Day is here, experience the preciousness and difficulty of labor. Try to balance labor and health, after all, both are important components of the body and spirit.

Don’t let the Mid-Autumn Festival be a festival of just eating mooncakes, the Dragon Boat Festival is just a hot spot for zongzi, and Labor Day is just a day to avoid labor...
